INTERNSHIP
Innovation Center works closely with the Career Services Center of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) to offer small businesses in the area an opportunity to grow with the assistance of highly motivated students to meet their specific needs. GRAPHICS
Our award winning graphic design students offer designs that can assist client companies to create a unique brand for their companies. Graphic identity services include printed promotional materials, company branding, website design and online promotional materials.

FACILITY
The Innovation Center has a 35,000 square foot off-campus facility that serves the needs of its clients and the community. The facility is conveniently located 6.7 miles away from TAMU-CC campus. It can house 30 to 35 resident clients and has meeting rooms for groups that range from six to over 100 attendees. The Innovation Center has one large and two smaller conference rooms available for client company needs, including workshops, meetings and conferences. Major benefits include:

EDUCATION
Educational offerings guide entrepreneurs to success through workshops planned and offered by the Innovation Center. The Innovation Center will prioritize the workshop topics such as entrepreneurship, marketing, strategy, manufacturing, legal issues, and funding, based on the needs of client companies.

MENTORSHIP
The Venture Mentoring program is key to accelerate the process of commercialization. The Innovation Center has a network of up to 40 mentors from SCORE and some of our advisory board members who volunteer to make themselves available to our client companies.

PROTOTYPING
A 3D printer is now available to our client companies and others interested in prototyping their products. Innovation Center clients, TAMU-CC students and faculty are charged for material cost only.

RESEARCH
A username and password is made available to our client companies to request specialized research. Graduate students and senior undergraduates with outstanding academic backgrounds can assist in research for the Innovation Center clients' business needs. In the last 2 years the Innovation Center has employed over 55 students from 14 different countries. Students have access to the TAMU-CC library and research databases in addition to other search engines that clients may not have access to. Some of the topics include but are not limited to:
  • Accounting/finance (Capstone projects for Master of Accountancy students work with 2 or 3 clients every year)

The co-working space is designed to provide an inspiring, creative, flexible, and comfortable working environment for students and professionals to explore ideas in entrepreneurship. It offers a solution to the isolation that professional freelancers experience while working at home.
