TAMUCC is now one of six federal test sites in the United States for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The University’s Lonestar UAS command center, located at the INNOVATION CENTER, presents an opportunity for aerospace entrepreneurs in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend area. The American Aerospace Advisors, Inc. (AAA) and Balboa Map Company joined the INNOVATION CENTER as a result of the UAS deal.
