This website is part of our Regional Economic Research Program at the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center (INNOVATION CENTER). This program was first developed under a 2010 Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant, which was extended for five additional years in 2013. The EDA University Center website serves as a repository of four types of resources:

In this section, we monitor changes in the current economic conditions in the metro area of the Coastal Bend. These statistics are like the vital signs of our body, so you can keep current with the economic health of the region that will affect you.	This section presents historical economic data for Corpus Christi, the Coastal Bend region, the state of Texas, and the U.S.
Economic Profile	Research & Pulse Reports
In this section, we present historical trends of the regional economy, as opposed to current economic conditions.	This section contains research work and reports on specific industries or topics that reflect economic and community development in the region.
