According to Dr. John Gamble, Dean of the College of Business, the economic impact is going to take around 10 years for yield results, and is “projected to be about $8 billion statewide, with $260 million in South Texas that will create about 1,200 jobs.”
Mr. Cone stated during the interview with KIIITV that the program would greatly diversify the regional economy, bring more jobs to the area while encourage talents to stay in Corpus Christi by taking advantage of this great deal.
