Gathering the necessary information to start your business may seem daunting, but like all big tasks it should be tackled in manageable steps. The first step is to lay down an effective business model.
According to an article on Entrepreneur.com entitled “Developing a Great Business Model,” “Great business models depend on developing three ‘green lights,’ or qualities that help the business succeed: finding high-value customers, offering significant value to customers, and delivering significant margins.”
In the next educational workshop to be hosted by the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center (Innovation Center), Dr. John Gamble will present on business model development that will create superior customer value and profits.
Gamble is a Professor of Management and the Dean of the College of Business at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) with over 20 years of teaching strategic management and entrepreneurship experience. His research interests focus on strategic issues in entrepreneurial, health care, and manufacturing settings.
All small businesses, startups and entrepreneur-minded individuals are welcome to attend on Oct. 30th, 2014. The workshop will be held at the Innovation Center lobby from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
