College Student Receives 2016 Addy Awards

The Innovation Center has a track record for recruiting talent from the local university, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC). For the 2016 Addy Awards, their graphic designer, Thi Nguyen, was awarded a Gold for a collaborative project that included collateral for OSO BAY XIX and a Special Judge Award for her social awareness campaign titled the “Unchain Campaign.”

According to Nguyen, “I’m so thankful for the opportunity to share and evaluate my work, to be able to take in different design perspectives…we work harder each year and more and more high quality work is submitted. I keep this in mind and try to do my best.”

Tina Lentz, Research Assistant at the Center, also won three bronze awards for her poster designs.
